One of our favourites, the Wiston Blanc de Blancs NV is delightfully fresh with vibrant acidity and impeccable balance. Crisp green apple and delicate notes of kumquat are leading the way with flinty minerality. The wine finishes soft, crisp and clean. Critics said this wine is made to sip by the sea with a huge plate of freshly-shucked oysters and yet also is an exceptional wine for all occasions.

Our 4th release of our Vintage Cuvée 2017 follows in the footsteps of the multi award-winning 2009, 2013 and 2015 vintages. With enticing notes of fragrant English orchard fruits, honey, toasted hazelnuts and brioche, it has impressive depth and complexity, retaining our cuvée’s signature precision and elegance. Displaying a delightful creaminess on the finish, this wine is drinking beautifully now, yet also has superb ageing potential.

Wiston Estate Rosé 2014 is a pale pink sparkling rosé with sweet and spicy aromas of honey, spiced berries and orange peel. At first it’s a fruit-forward wine, brimming with ripe cherries and cranberries, but it has a sumptuous creamy finish.

It is a remarkable match for rich and smoked dishes, and holds its own with even the boldest of ingredients, such as game and Christmas pudding. Critics have highlighted its ‘concentrated’ and ‘complex’ character and although it’s ready to drink, it will also develop for the right occasion.

The fruit from the 2014 harvest was of exceptional quality and the resulting wine has evolved into an excellent example of Blanc de Noir, abundant with complex character and intensity of flavour.

Wiston Estate Blanc de Noirs 2014 is abundant with complex character and intensity of flavour. Aromas of lemon cake and macadamia nut deliver an inviting a sense of opulence. A round and weighty texture on the palate, abound with notes of rhubarb, dried orange and greengage. Further finesse shows through on the long finish, with hints of Himalayan pink salt and electric freshness, a subtle note of sweetness of Braeburn apple. Undeniable potential to age further.

When this iteration of Wiston Blanc de Blancs NV was first launched in 2017 in 75cl bottles, this wine was described by Neal Martin in the Wine Advocate as “a thrilling, live-wire sparkling Chardonnay” and was subsequently awarded Gold Medals in both the WineGB Awards 2019 and IEWA 2018. Now with 5 years ageing on the lees and a further year on cork, Wiston Estate are extremely excited to be releasing this limited edition in Magnum format.

With an abundance of ripe red apples and pears, toasted hazelnuts, ginger and an underlying savoury minerality, Wiston Estate Cuvée 2013 Magnum shows impressive depth and complexity, whilst retaining Wiston’s signature precision and elegance. Magnums have the capability to evolve slower and more delicately as well as deliver a broader and multi dimensional flavour spectrum. Perfect for celebrations but divine to open at dinner; we pair this with a show stopping beef wellington or truffle risotto.

In 2017, the year it was released, the 2013 was named the UK’s best sparkler in Decanter’s World Wine Awards and won the English Sparkling Wine trophy in the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC) – the two market-defining competitions, and a recognition of the craftsmanship that went into producing this vintage.
